K.L. Cleeton & Americas Cardroom want to send you to the WSOP
By Bob Garcia
As a child, K.L. Cleeton was diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a condition that eventually immobilized nearly his entire body. Fortunately, he still maintains feeling in his fingers which allows him to remain mobile through the aid of an electric wheelchair.
As a long-time poker fan, one of Cleeton’s dreams came true in 2017 when he attended the World Series of Poker Main Event thanks to poker professional Daniel Negreanu. The dream was reignited last year thanks to our WPN CEO Phil Nagy, who generously supported another WSOP journey.
Now, K.L. is once again going to the WSOP Main Event this year, courtesy of Americas Cardroom, and we’re also giving the same opportunity to one lucky ACR player.
The WSOP Rookie Challenge is six qualifier tournaments running on May 5th, 8th, 12th, 15th, 19th, and 22nd. If you make win a Takedown Ticket in any of those tourneys, you’ll be invited to submit a short video explaining why you should win the WSOP Rookie Challenge package.
The winner, as voted on by our judges, will receive a $15,000 WSOP Main Event package to play this July in Las Vegas. The package includes the $10,000 Main Event buy-in, $2,500 in travel and accommodations, and $2,500 in spending money.
If the stars align just right, perhaps you will be sitting across the Main Event Final Table from K.L. Cleeton, both of you living out your dreams together!
