Sunday Recap: Another solid Sunday at Americas Cardroom

Did you spend your Sunday watching the NBA playoffs?  While there was plenty of excitement on the hardwood in Dallas and Philly, it was nothing compared to the action at Americas Cardroom yesterday.

$1,000,000 GTD Million Dollar Sunday

This week’s Million Dollar Sunday had a $189,800 overlay, which was fantastic news for players who like getting extra value out of their tourneys.  When it was all said and done, 495 of the 4,051 entrants who took part in this $215 tournament cashed. Congratulations to all the winners, especially the top three:

$500,000 GTD Sunday High Roller

1,052 High Rollers competed in Sunday’s $500K GTD tourney. Due to popular demand, the final prize pool ballooned to $631,200 in this $630 buy-in event.  That’s 26% more than advertised.

$300,000 GTD Warm Up

Our $300K Warm Up was hotter than advertised thanks to 3,258 entries.  The final prize pool in this popular $109 buy-in event was $325,800.  Congrats to all 495 players who took home cash, especially the top three:

$250,000 GTD Sunday Special 

With 1,486 entries in all, Sunday’s $250K unlimited re-entry tourney was far more special than we anticipated. 216 players went home with cash in this $215 buy-in event, which had a final prize pool of $297,200.  The top three:
